My husband and I eat 4-5 walnuts daily. In my opinion whole foods that you eat every day need to rank at top of chart in quality. I consider how grown,(regenerative) where grown ( in USA) and sustainability practices. Boroughs Walnuts hits all those points

These roasted almonds are beyond. We have started putting them on everything, they are so good. Salads, sorbet (just got a Ninja Cremi), added to homemade granola. They are really, really good. We are going to have to put them on auto order because our first bag went so fast.

I will definitely be buying more of these walnuts. Soil health equals human health. Growing up in the 1950s, I remember the road trips back to the family farms in Iowa and Missouri, that my father grew up on. That was before corporations started buying family farms with one thing on their mind: Profit. If you care about your health, support small farmers who care about the land.
I started buying almonds from Burroughs Family Farms about six months ago, and I will continue to buy them from Burroughs. I buy them because they are organic, and use them to make almond milk. The milk turns out very delicious and creamy. These are the best almonds I have purchased so far. Previously I used to buy them at regular grocery stores, but they were not organic and were very expensive.

Refrigerate, or freeze if you are keeping them past a month. Walnut oil is delicate and cold is what protects it. This is the single thing that decides whether they still taste good in eight weeks.
Yes, and unlike almonds there is no federal mandate forcing walnuts to be treated. That means most walnuts are technically raw. What separates ours is that they are never heat treated and never allowed to sit warm.
Our products are produced in peanut-free facilities, which is called out on the packaging. Those facilities do process other tree nuts, and shared equipment may be used, with allergen changeover and cleaning protocols required under SQF and BRCGS certification.
